1. Choices available to you
Depending on your relationship with Densnap and the law that applies, you may ask us to take one or more of the following actions:
- Access: confirm whether Densnap processes information about you and provide appropriate details or a copy.
- Correction: correct inaccurate account, business, domain-contact, or other personal information.
- Export: provide portable account or lead information where available and appropriate.
- Deletion: delete an individual lead, project, or Densnap account, subject to the limited exceptions described below.
- Withdraw optional consent: stop future processing that depends on your permission, including new AI processing.
- Provider information: explain the service providers that receive information for a specific feature.
- Appeal: ask us to review a decision on a privacy request where applicable.
Densnap does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not engage in those practices, there is no sale or targeted-advertising opt-out required to use the service. If you believe a service behaves differently, contact us so we can investigate.
2. How to make a request
Email [email protected] from the address associated with your Densnap account when possible. Use a subject such as “Privacy request” and tell us:
- your name and the email address connected to the information;
- whether you are an account holder, domain contact, website visitor, or authorized agent;
- the specific action you want us to take;
- the project, domain, business, or inquiry involved, if applicable; and
- any detail that helps us locate the correct record without sending unnecessary sensitive information.
Do not email a password, authentication code, full payment-card number, Social Security number, or unrelated identity document. We will tell you if proportionate verification is needed.
You can also delete individual leads in Densnap and begin account deletion from the Account screen. For security, account deletion may require a current password or fresh authentication.
3. How we verify requests
We verify identity and authority in proportion to the sensitivity of the request. Verification may include confirming control of the account email, signing in again, supplying a request or project identifier known to the account, or answering a limited question about the relevant record.
We will not ask for more information than reasonably needed. If we cannot verify a request, we will explain what is missing and, when possible, offer a less sensitive alternative. Information supplied for verification is used only to evaluate and document the request and is protected under the retention rules in our Privacy Policy.
4. Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent where applicable. The agent should email [email protected] and identify the person represented, the requested action, and the basis for the agent’s authority.
We may ask for a signed authorization, power of attorney, or other legally sufficient proof. We may also contact the person directly to confirm identity and permission, unless applicable law provides otherwise. We do not require an agent to obtain account credentials, and customers should never give an agent their password.
5. Requests about a website inquiry
If you submitted an inquiry on a Densnap customer’s website, the named customer business received it so the business could respond. For questions about that business’s later use, such as marketing or its own customer records, contact the business directly.
For a request about Densnap’s managed form or the copy stored in Densnap, email [email protected] and identify:
- the business or website where you submitted the form;
- the approximate submission date;
- the name and contact address used on the form; and
- the action you are requesting.
We may need to coordinate with the customer business and verify the request before changing or disclosing a lead. Densnap retains visitor leads for 24 months unless the customer deletes them earlier.
6. Withdrawing AI permission
Before first using OpenAI to create or edit a website, Densnap asks the customer to affirmatively continue. You may later withdraw that permission by emailing [email protected].
Withdrawal stops new AI processing after the request is applied. It does not retroactively undo processing already completed with permission, erase information that must be kept for a permitted reason, or automatically remove an existing website. Features that require new AI generation or editing will no longer work unless permission is granted again. Non-AI account, domain, subscription, publication, lead, and support functions may remain available as applicable.
7. Response timing and appeals
We will acknowledge a privacy request and respond within the period required by applicable law. For verified U.S. consumer privacy requests, that is generally within 45 days. If the law permits an extension because a request is complex or numerous, we will explain the reason and expected timing before the initial period ends.
If we deny all or part of a request, we will explain the decision unless prohibited from doing so. Where applicable, you may appeal by replying to the decision or emailing [email protected] with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. A person not involved in the original decision will review the appeal when reasonably practicable.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may deny manifestly unfounded, excessive, fraudulent, or unverifiable requests as permitted by law.
8. Permitted limitations
Some information cannot be deleted, corrected, or disclosed immediately. For example, Densnap may need narrowly scoped records to:
- securely transfer, verify, renew, or resolve a customer-owned domain;
- complete accounting, tax, subscription, refund, fraud, or dispute obligations;
- investigate abuse or a security incident;
- comply with law, legal process, or a preservation duty;
- protect another person’s privacy; or
- establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If immediate account deletion would strand an active customer-owned domain, we may pause final deletion while we help transfer or resolve it. We will explain the issue and provide a support path. We will not silently take ownership of the domain.
Records retained under an exception are minimized, access-restricted, unavailable for ordinary product use, and removed when the applicable obligation ends. Deleted content in backups is unavailable for ordinary use and ages out within 30 days.
